Why should I receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit?
The book of Acts describes definite effects that point to evidence that The Spirit has been received. The ones mentioned are speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4; 10:46; 19:6), prophesying (Acts 2:17; 19:6; 10:46), freely praising the great things of God (Acts 2:11; 10:46), boldness and power in witness (Acts 2:13-36), and obedience to God (Acts 5:32). Once empowered of the Spirit, Miracles (Gal 3:5), signs, and wonders (Acts 6;8, 13:9-11) are among the people. Luke describes it as an identifiable experience of the living God, not just a logical inference from a human act of will. There is a Promise in Acts 1:8 that when the Spirit comes upon us, we will receive power. And in this power we will be able to evangelize to the world.
We encourage you to declare your faith to the Lord, ask for the release and outpouring of the Holy Spirit in your life, ask for the ability to discern His work, in Jesus Name. Amen.

What is The Shofar?
A Shofar is an Animal Horn: Ram; Goat; Sheep; Antelope
It is one of the earliest used musical instruments in Jewish tradition (70 references in the Bible). Sacred-Priest blew these animal horns as a call, or cry, A VOICE of God.
The Shofar was also a weapon.
The Shofar was used primarily for three reasons:
- War, Joshua 6:1
- Worship, Psalm 150:3
- Celebrations, Psalm 150:3
The use of the Shofar as used among the Jews:
- Call to War
- Call to a solemn assembly
- To proclaim God’s rest-call of the Sabboth
- The return of the Ark-which brought God’s Glory
- Anointing of Solomon
- A sound of warning
- Return from captivity
- Victory in war-destruction of Jericho Joshua 6:1
- Instills confusion and fear in the enemy (300 Shofars) Judges 7:15-22
The last day the Shofar shall blast we will meet Him in the air-caught up with Him in the air.
